What you can expect

Enjoy amazing animal encounters at Orana Wildlife Park, New Zealand's only open-range zoo. Hand-feed giraffe, meet rhino up close, stroll through native bird aviaries or make friends with some farm animals. 12 presentations daily help you meet our precious animals up close. Your visit helps us to continue our amazing conservation work which includes breeding kiwi, whio and karaka for release to the wild.

  • General admission to the Park

  • The Park is wheelchair accessible, please be aware some areas of the Park are gravel/uneven.
Duration
  • We recommend visitors allow 3-5 hours to visit the Park, minimum time recommended is two hours.
What To Bring
  • Please check the weather before visiting and please ensure you dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Orana is an all weather, outdoor venue.
Terms And Conditions
  • Admissions close at 4pm, we recommend you arrive by 3pm.
  • All children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver 16yrs or over.

  • Amendments can be made up to 24 hours prior to visit.
