  • Cost excludes alcoholic beverages. Please note alcohol is not permitted to be brought into Arnhem Land. The roads are policed, and severe penalties can apply. We have a licensed bar where you can purchase beer, wine and spirits as required.

  • Billabong Cruise Cruise along the billabong to see the sun set over the floodplain and Mt Borradaile light up with magnificent colours as the sun seeks the horizon and you enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles.
  • Wetlands Exploration Spend a late afternoon on the billabong observing the wildlife including the many crocodiles that inhabit the watercourses, both estuarine and freshwater species.
  • Bird Watching The wetlands are dotted with thousands of birds of varying species.
  • Mt Borradaile Journey into the sandstone escarpments formed thousands of millions of years ago.
  • Rock Art Discover galleries of Aboriginal rock art that show stories from more recent times of Aboriginal contact with other cultures. Learn about the variety of techniques used in the rock paintings as the styles changed over the thousands of years of occupation and storytelling.
  • Artefacts Wander through various occupation and burial sites and view a range of artefacts from when these sites were still in use.
  • Catacombs Walk through the incredible catacombs that display signs of recent occupation and ancient mortuary rites.
  • Rock Formations See ceremonial stones and be enchanted by the power of the history of years gone by.
  • Rainforests Explore the rainforest areas and discover a completely different ecosystem with a distinct array of plants and animals.
  • Bush Tucker and Medicine Walk through savannah woodland, the local supermarket and find plenty of local bush tucker and medicines.
  • Fishing Try your hand at barramundi fishing in the pristine Cooper Creek, the wet season waterfall is fantastic.
  • 4WD Take a 4WD excursion into the savannah landscapes, woodlands and rainforests.
  • Rare and Unique Species Discover some of the rare and unique species found in this region like the fabulous Leichhardt's Grasshopper.

  • Self Drive (you must organise your own vehicle)
  • There is a $50 per person track access levy applicable to all self drive guests. A Mud Map will be emailed to you with directions to the lodge. Ensure you have a good 4WD vehicle with reasonable clearance as the trip crosses the East Alligator River, where you will be advised of tide times to allow for a safe crossing. The remainder of the track is dirt and includes sandy areas, small creek crossings, and a few boulders. The drive is not difficult, but all guests should be well equipped.

  • Cancellation 10–30 days prior to booking - 60% of total cost of tour
  • Cancellation 4–9 days prior to booking- 80% of total cost of tour
  • Cancellation of 3 days or less to booking - 100% of total cost of tour
