What you can expect

Make like a super hero with a ride on one of the coolest new contraptions that offers the closest sensation there is to actually flying! Hover high above the waterways while being strapped to a thrilling high-powered **water jet pack**. This amazing technology is now accessible to all on the Gold Coast where you can take a Solo Flight or a Two Flight Pack to get even more **Gold Coast jetpack** action!

The jet pack can propel pilots up to 10 metres in the air and can travel at speeds of up to 45km/h. Your day begins with your instructor for an in-depth training session before being kitted out, you will then be shown the ropes on how to operate this fantastic machine by an expert jet pack instructor.

Or will you choose to be a superhero and use the flyboard? a water powered device pushing you by your feet, up into the air where you feel like a superhero!

Exclusions

  • Hotel transfers - you will need to make your own way to the departure location at Main Beach
Itinerary
  • Arrive a half hour before your scheduled flight time, which will give you sufficient time to fill out the necessary paperwork and watch the others fly
  • Meet your training partner, if you are a group of one (we always train two people together to allow one person to take their first flight, while the other person watches, then you’ll switch, which allows you time to rest between flights and gives you a chance to watch and learn from the other person’s flying)
  • Take your first flight (the instructor will control the throttle so you can focus on learning the steering controls – once you are comfortable with the steering and stability control, the instructor will give more power and get you higher, if you want to)
  • Watch your training partner’s first flight (watching another pilot really helps people learn, since you can see what other first-timers are doing right and wrong, which will help on your second flight)
  • Take your second flight (this is when things really get fun, the controls start to “click” and you can focus on going higher, doing tighter turns and feeling the “Flight Experience”)
  • Head back to the land base to transfer your High Definition video footage onto a DVD or USB Drive (if you purchased the Video Package)

Time
  • Flights operate daily from Mariners Cove Mariner, Shop 18/60-70 Seaworld Dr, Main Beach from 9am to 5pm. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation tour voucher with complete tour operator details. You will be required to contact the tour operator to confirm a flight time
  • Please allow approx 30 mins for the whole experience
What To Bring
  • Bathing suit, and towel
  • Depending on the air and water temperature you may want to bring a sweatshirt or jacket
  • Wetsuits and gloves are included

  • There is no age restriction however you need to weigh at least 40kg to participate
