Marvel at the stunning natural wonder that is Milford Sound, New Zealand’s most famous fiord, on this scenic flight, with a two-hour stop to explore. Your adventure begins with a flight from Queenstown, offering unparalleled views from your window seat. Soar over the Olivine Ice Plateau, Earnslaw Burn Glacier and Mt. Ttoko Glacier, with views extending to the glacier-fed rivers of Dart-Rees Valley. The 80 minute round-trip will treat you to endless panoramic views of the UNESCO World Heritage Area, highlighting the rugged West Coast and Fiordland National Park.

Upon arrival in Milford Sound, you’ll have two hours to explore and soak in the natural beauty of towering peaks, lush native bush and waterfalls cascading down sheer cliffs. Be sure to follow the Lookout Track for a new on-ground perspective and keep an eye out for friendly fur seals, penguins and dolphins in the area. The return flight follows a unique route, so you’ll see new and spectacular landscapes as you head back to Queenstown Airport. Transfers will be waiting to return you to your accommodation, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable journey from start to finish.

  • If you weigh 140kg (310lbs) or more, please visit our office before your flight. This allows us to verify that the aircraft seatbelts will fit comfortably for your safety and comfort during the flight. Generally, we have found that individuals around 140kg meet the requirements in most cases.
  • If you cannot visit us in person, please measure the seatbelt length across your lap while seated, from your right hip to your left hip. The estimated length is 120cm, similar to standard aircraft seatbelts. If you believe your measurements exceed this length, please inform us.
