What you can expect

Enjoy stunning views of Coronet Peak and the magnificent Remarkable, as well as Cecil Peak and Walter Peak across the beautiful Lake Wakatipu. This is a cable car ride you will never forget.

Each table in the restaurant at the top of the Skyline Gondola enables you to admire some of the most incredible views you have ever witnessed in your life. Your taste buds will be tantalized by a sumptuous six course buffet in an easy going environment that is perfect for couples, families and groups. The seating layout utilises an ingenious tiered design that will enable up to 320 people to enjoy unobstructed views of the amazing scenery through windows that stretch from floor to ceiling.

  • The gondola is open all year round, from 9am to late.
  • This experience is available at 4:45pm, 5pm, 5:30pm, 5:45pm, 7:45pm, 8pm, 8:30pm, and 8:45pm.

  • Dining duration is 90 minutes
Location
  • We are located at Brecon St, Queenstown. The gondola base is an easy 5 minute walk from central Queenstown. From the Clock-Tower Information Centre (cnr of Shotover & Camp St in central Queenstown), head up Camp St towards the gondola and take the first left into Man St, then the first right into Brecon St. Proceed to the end of the road, where you will find the gondola base station. Car parking is available. The gondola base can be accessed on foot, by car or taxi.

  • No cancellation fee - More than 48 hours prior to commencement of Activities
  • 100% cancellation fee - Less than 48 hours prior to commencement of Activities or if the Buyer does not turn up for Activities
  • Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, The period 7 days either side of the annual Chinese New Year date
  • No cancellation fee - Over 7 days prior to commencement of Activities
  • 100% cancellation fee - Less than 7 days prior to commencement of Activities or if the Buyer does not turn up for Activities
  • Bookings for parties of 10 pax or more
  • All dates other than those noted below
