What you can expect

Feel your heart race faster and your thirst for speed grow during this drive experience in a F1-style Formula Ford race car. After a safety briefing, driver intuition from a professional race car driver and gear up, strap in to the six-point racing harness in preparation for the drive of a lifetime. Seated only inches above the ground, you'll feel every bump and vibration as your super responsive car reacts to every movement you make.

Feel the wind blast over your body and the roar of the engine just inches behind your head, as you power around the track. With ten laps to race, test your speed limits with each. You'll leave with an appetite for more!

What you need to know

Note
  • Maximum weight is 120kg
  • Participants must have "P" standard manual driving license and be able to operate a manual gearbox
  • Participants will be required to sign an indemnity accepting liability for any damage to the car
  • Minimum age is 16 years. Participants under the age of 18 years will require a parent/guardian to sign such forms on their behalf
  • Minimum height is 155 cm, and the maximum is 188 cm
  • Not suitable for pregnant women or those who suffer from certain medical conditions.

Time
  • Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for this experience
  • Sessions run from 7:30am - 4:30pm, with two dates scheduled per month (dependent on availability)
  • Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the session start time
Location
  • This experience takes place in Eastern Creek, NSW.
Departure Location
  • This experience takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, NSW. Travelling east or west on the M4, take the Reservoir Road exit. Follow the Sydney Motorsport Park signs on the Great Western Highway and turn left into Brabham Drive.
  • Once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Alpha Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around to the gate A entry (formerly gate 7).
  • Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the session start time.
What To Bring
  • Bring your driving license (sorry, no license, no driving)
  • If you have your own race suit, helmet and gloves, bring them
  • Bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
Additional Information
  • Rescheduling: In the event of a reschedule inside 14 days, a $100 admin fee will apply
  • Weather: This experience is an outdoor event and will go ahead in wet/damp conditions. If the supplier deems the track unsafe, due to extreme weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to a convenient later date. We do not offer refunds. In damp or wet conditions, you must still arrive for your allocated session/event unless advised otherwise by the supplier.
  • Other Info:
  • When you are driving you are responsible for any damage done to the race vehicle. This event is an all weather event, and in the event that your session cannot run due to weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to another suitable date and time. Cancellations are subject to the adventure provider.
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
  • No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences
